HUDSON HOMES ATX

Relocating professionals

You've got a start date. I've got the ground game.

New role in Austin, three weekends to figure out where to live, and every neighborhood guide online was written by someone selling something. I'm your scout: tell me the office, your budget, and how you like to live — I'll bring back a shortlist with commutes, trade-offs, and video tours you can trust.

What you're up against

You don't know Austin yet — and it shows in listings

The Domain, Mueller, East Austin, South Congress, Rainey — each is a completely different life. Picking one off Reddit threads is how people end up paying downtown prices for a suburban commute.

A fly-in weekend isn't enough

Eight tours in two days with jet lag is how bad leases happen. The filtering should be done before your flight — so the weekend is finals only, or skipped entirely.

Remote signing feels like a leap of faith

Wiring a deposit to a building you've never entered is reasonable to hate. A licensed local who has stood in the unit changes that math.

How I run your search

  1. 1

Tell me the job, not just the budget

Office location, hybrid or in-person, gym/dog/nightlife priorities. Fit comes from how you'll actually live.

  2. 2

    Shortlist by commute and character

Three to five buildings across the neighborhoods that genuinely fit, with real drive times and straight talk on each area.

  3. 3

    Video tours of every finalist

Live FaceTime or recorded walkthroughs — water pressure, street noise, parking reality, the view that isn't in the photos.

  4. 4

    Signed before your first day

I run the application, lease review, and move-in logistics remotely. You land with an address, not an Airbnb.

Fair questions

What's the catch on 'free'?

No catch — properties pay locators a marketing commission. You get a professional search; your rent is unchanged.

My company gave me a relocation stipend — help?

Yes. I'll optimize the search around it and paper what your employer needs for reimbursement.

Can you work around a corporate housing deadline?

That 30-or-60-day corporate housing clock is my favorite deadline — plenty of time to do this right.

What if I want to buy in a year or two?

Then you want me long-term — I'm a licensed agent, and the neighborhood knowledge from your rental search rolls straight into your purchase.
